hello, just planning a holiday and wondered if anyone knows of any good kitesurfing spots in the santa monica or santa barbara area in california. has anyone been? im looking for beaches with smooth glassy water and no waves.

if anyone knows of any good websites, beaches that i should look out for, it would be much appriciated

yo, im not from cali, im from texas which is still 2 days away. my brother is living in cali but does not kite surf. he does tell me that kite surfing is good because there are always lots of surfers out. ill ask him what beach he went to but i beleve it was at santa monica. plenty of kite shops though, might want to call and ask about that.
