Guest Xav13 Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Is it true what I've heard about the Blade III 4.0m? I've heard that if you get big air on it, it would drop you like a stone. I was thinking on buying this kite to do some land boarding, my weight is 130 lbs and the wind here is around 12 to 20 mph. Please let me know if this is a good kite. Quote
Sky-Blu Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 i flew one of these for a good portion of the summer. when its powered up in the right wind you dont come down hard at all. as you're light the myth will be even less true. some find they dont float well and some do. if you're not flying the kite well then you'll come down hard, get it right and you'll be fine. Kroy Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 It's just that time in between, when ur learning to get it right... Get some padding ... and maybe some ankle support... oh and try and keep the kite moving while ur in the air, and get a big pull just before u land so it doesn't hurt so much. I'm sure there was a thread a while back on jumping, have a search of the forums Quote
Guest Xav13 Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 Thanks for the info, I'm going to buy one and may be some padding (just in case). Quote
