anc Posted October 13, 2003 Report Share Posted October 13, 2003 I have a maui magic Innovator seat harness but its a windsurf one(they didn´t have my size kite harness).http://www.surfstore.co.uk/acatalog/Surf_Store_UK_Special_Offer_Harnesses_108.html and the hook always gets into my belly, cos the kite lifts it. and I dont know how to fight this. I thought maybe an extra line or strap would help, but I´m not sure I want to start cutting and sewing my harness. any ideas? someone have the same problem? Bowcaps Posted October 13, 2003 Report Share Posted October 13, 2003 I don't know about the Maui Magic, but the Dakine Speedseat has an extra strap that is fed through the hook to stop it from riding up, it works pretty well too. ashsmith Posted October 13, 2003 Report Share Posted October 13, 2003 You really need a buggy harness. All the windsurfing/ Kite surfing harness have the spreader bar the high. You should try a libre harness. The spreader bar sits lower and does not dig into your guts when your seated. You also don't have a silly handle sticking in your back.
