OK, I've been dragooned into going to Norfolk for a few days with my better half. My experience of Norfolk to date is that there's Norfolk and chance of any excitement. (Read that out loud.)

So.....

Can anyone let me in on some good places to fly a 3.5 Bullet from a Flexifoil buggy? The closer to Blakeney the better...

Thanks!

Thanks!

Next question: why did the email telling me I had a reply provide a link.... to a porn site?

Is it Flexifoil's normal policy to advertise porn?

The email said:

"be as the cloud has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - Buggying spots in Norfolk - in the Buggying forum of Flexifoil Forums.

Suffice to say that link does not lead here.

Hi,

Wells-Next the sea has a great beach, especially when the tide is out. Great for flying on, but please note that, currently, buggies are banned on the beach.

If u want to be close to Blakeney go to the sand bank at Stiffkey.Don't know what the tides are like at the moment but you'll get a really good clean wind if you go right out to the bank.Alternatviely go to Stiffkey marsh and find a flat bit of sand. It's a bit muddy but not too mad.

ALL WYMONDHAM KITERS ALERT!

The Ketts Park Community & Recreation Centre have BANNED all Carts for the twinter and want to charge us £50 each for use in the summer.

Yesterday I was in Wymondham getting some practice in when an elderly gentleman came across and handed me this letter, ( I retyped it below). PLEASE READ THIS!

To Kite/Cart Users

Dear Sirs

Due to the waterlogged condition of the ground at Ketts Park all activities by Kiting is prohibeitted until further notice.

The committee felt that the ruts caused by your carts could cause injury to other users. Also that we have a serious drainage problem several thousand pounds have been spent to alleviate this, but major pipe laying is needed to carry excess water away.

A notice will be put on the door of the hall when your act ivies may be resumed. At that time we will require to see a current third party insurance certificate specifically for your activity. On payment of £50.00 per annum we will grant a licence for you to use Ketts Park grounds.

I would point out that although the ground is owned by Wymondham town council. It is administrated by the Ketts Park Community and Recreation Committee, who have the duty to see that these grounds are correctly used and maintained, and who have the right to charge any fee the deem correct.

(He then has a go at golfers)

David J Miller

Chairman & Treasurer

Ketts Park Community & Recreation Centre

FIRST WE SCREAM!

Now having got that out of my system. Start telling everyone we know who owns a kite. I do not have Ants contact details, so can someone tell him?

Thoughts for a response:

Ø Form a club and negotiate for a single fee

Ø Maybe have a huge protest afternoon with 50 carts and a barbeque- music, dancing girls, etc.

Ø It is understandable that they want us off for the winter and insurance, but the £50 is unreasoned –

Ø The footballers do more damage

Anyway, enough of my ranting

My home email is r.Williams@freeuk.com, let me know what you think.

Its all in hand at the moment. Look at it this way at least they have not banned us permanantly which they can easily do if they want too. If you want full details then get in touch with Alex at the Edge (Kellers) as he has already been speaking to the people involved.
