chin Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 Normally, washing my kite with some warm soapy water cleans it up a treat, but this is not the case with weston SUPER mud. It appears to be a mud somewhere between clay and concrete. Trying to wipe it off just smears it around so I need something more effective. Surely someone sells spray on rinse off cleaner, or will clean it for me for a small fee. Quote
Furry Ginger One Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 Wash it in the bath with wasing up liquid. If it is extremely dirty spend qiute a while agitating it and leave it soaking for a while. Empty all the dirty water out then give it a good rinsing with clean water. Hang it out to dry on the line and hey presto a sparkling kite for sunny days. Quote
whitewolf Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 having spent a couple of years living there in the 80s I noticed that the tide only came in when Bristol flushed their toilets. . . perhaps Toilet Duck would clean your kite better? Quote
