good to see that thing works, as i want to try it out, looks good,

how is the blade like when you turn it on the bar,. . due to the centre brakes. .does that affect its flight?

HI,

went down to West Wittering to day with the 3 line set up on my 4m blade and it works a fine i did not notice any problem on the turn just had to get some to move the stops a bit but once that was done it was ok. I let someone who is quit good on a board but he flys with handles once he used my setup he is going to do the same. I think this is one of the best set up for boarding as you have a way of depowering

um so would you have the same set up without the y bit, but at some point surly youd need to have the brakes joined at some point?

also where do the breaks go? (w/ ragsas design?)

but wouldnt it be easier to join them, cos if there going through the hole it would just make it easier?

also you should be able to get harken blocks from most chandlers, or get a copy of yachts and yachting there are supplieres in the back

You cannot put both brake lines to the bar , or join the brakes directly to the third line. You would have no control over the kite in flight as you would be applying brake on one side unless you had the third line slack or were traveling straight up in the centre of the wind.(belive me i know).

The point of joining the brakes together with a long line ond using a harken block or sliding ring is to stop this happening.

rigging a bar like this allows you to reverse the kite if you use a chicken loop on the 3rd line, you can also add a safty to the 3rd line if you want to.
