buggykiller Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 i have finallt got some pictures of my new buggy for you all to have a nosey at. forks and axle are libre. down tube and side frame from square metre. the seat is a libre full race and i scrounged the side frame covers off tkc (thankyou ben) the splash gaurd is made by my own fair hand from the trouser leg of an old pair of army trousers. everything is very wet and sand covered after a blast at knott end on sea (a mile up from fleetwood) which could well have been the wetest beach i have ever buggied onhttp://website.lineone.net/~ian.fulford/assets/powermax2.JPG http://website.lineone.net/~ian.fulford/assets/powermax3.JPG Quote
BigBro Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 power max buggy pics (at last) So am I right in thinking that the only Powermax parts on it are the downtube and sidetubes? Quote
buggykiller Posted January 14, 2003 Author Report Posted January 14, 2003 yes. but that is kind of the point. power max isnt a complete buggy. it is a kit build compatible with exsisting manufacturers. Quote
BigBro Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 I think if you ask the guys at Sq/m they may disagree! Yes it is not a complete buggy as it requires wheels and a seat but they do sell the "PowerMax buggy chassis Kit" which if you had this I guess you could then call it a PowerMax buggy. My point was that you call yours a PowerMax buggy when in fact most parts on it are made by Libre so it is more a Libre buggy! Just me being picky Quote
buggykiller Posted January 14, 2003 Author Report Posted January 14, 2003 to be honest i call it a `SUPER V-POWER FULL TRUCK MAX RACE BUGGY` didnt know if that would fit in the title box Quote

buggykiller Posted January 14, 2003 Author Report Posted January 14, 2003 the special is the one for getting airborne anyone got a frenzy for me to borrow at mablethorpe? :D Quote
Marcus Edwards Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Both right we do bits and we do kits! all compatible with Libre buggys etc. all can be customised i.e. we made the siderails for Buggykiller to his specification so that he got a nice snug fit. The PowerMax Buggy Don't compromise build yourself a better buggy. . Quote
