photek1000 Posted December 28, 2002 Report Posted December 28, 2002 When flying stacks of kites, do you need a higher wind speed for launching and flying or can it be done at a lower speed. The minimum reccomended is 8mph+ for the 6's and 8's individually, but I can't find any guidelines for stacks, and now that I have a new 6 and an 8 I can't wait to go and find out how much more power they generate. Matt Duff Posted January 2, 2003 Report Posted January 2, 2003 Back in March last year i stacked 6 Stacker 6s on Brighton beach in a 5-9 mph wind. I flew for about 3 hours without any problem. The launch was very easy, they just went strait up! Cheers Matt Quote
