nigel Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 Any takers for a buggy run on the beach?? Sunday the 25th of Jan. Low tide is 11:22am at Waratah Bay. Good from about 8:30am to 2:30pm. Current winds seem to be Westerly but shifting to the South West later in the day. Around 10-15 knots This might change, so will have to see if the South Westerly comes in earlier or later. Which means the location might change as well. Westerly, Venus Bay. South Westerly, Sandy Point. Fingers crossed..... Quote
nigel Posted January 23 Author Report Posted January 23 Just checked the forecast. Both beaches are going to have onshore winds, but I think Sandy Point has the better beach. So our plans are to go to Sandy Point, and arrive about 10am. Winds are forecast at 15 knots, but have not been what was forecast the last three times we have been down there. So could be sub 10 knots, or even the forecast 15 knots. Pack several kite sizes. See you all there!! Quote
