mick
and work when WET ! without a SCHOCK ! Whether they are worth it I don't know but you ask 'without a shock'. FFS !!! They're 9 volts not 240. Unless you're trailing an extension lead.
kitesurfandy
thou the wrist mounted battery and electronics would need waterproofing they will last for two hours! thou two hours of toasty warm hands in this weather would be NICE ! mick
2 hours you say. Is this a guess or is it stated?
mick
A guy I used to windsurf with at Draycote developed a system that involved a pvc tube running down each arm into your gloves. They were joined together and one pipe came out by your mouth. Periodically or when required, you just blew into the tube to send a warm blow of air into your gloves. Simple but effective. Blast
LOL Yer keep it up guys. I use palm-less mitts. Never had cold hands, but then i am down south !!! Yeh I've used palm less mitts quite a bit as you don't get the lactic burn on your forearms and they are pretty warm as long as you have your hands on the bar. Still not used gloves yet this season but I know it ain't far away!

mrnobody
I think you might do better with the chemical activated gloves like this company are offering: Our technology | Alago Heated Gloves Doesn't last as long but they can be reactivated by boiling in warm water/putting in the microwave. Last thing you want is an electric shock mid boost.
