I've just been shipped up to Lincoln and I don't really know any good spots along the east coast. I've heard a few people mention cleethorpes for good flat water and another place called woola bank but not a lot of info on either.

Mostly looking for a flat water spot. Would also like to know of any restriction. Don't want to turn up and get in trouble

Would really appreciate the help cheers

I can offer a bit of help. Cleethorpes is super flat at low tide but can get real bumpy as the tide comes in. Also the beach IMHO is sh1t. There was so much dog poo, coal, piles of clay and steel spikes sticking out of the water. I would think you need east in the wind to be on or cross on. Mablethorpe can be great in an easterly. Big flattish areas then out to the sand bar and biggish waves. Next to no one goes there. Lots of decent beaches on that coast BUT predominent SW means cross off.

Best on the east coast is Hunny but its a difficult trip I think.

But.... Maybo will only work safely with east in the wind. I'm pretty sure that anything else is off shore. When are you available to get out ? I like Maybo on an easterly but it only happens half a dozen times a year and rarely in the summer time.

Maybo on an easterly.

WARNING !!!! Mowing alert.
