kiteingcolin
Windy at times and a tad cold, no rain:) bit of sun, lots of fun:) Andrew had a problem:( Kite deflated whilst out at sea, valves ? Not that superglue fix I hope:mad: I would hope Andrew remembered his own great tip from yesterday:rolleyes: quote.... a learning curve for all, allways check your kit weekly , all of it , as if something fails your fkd ....quote Joking apart, the weather gods have really done some work on the beach, in fact I for one thinks its much better now, the destruction of the dunes has covered the stoney beach in nice golden sand, It is shocking to see how much of the dune area has been destroyed, some parts of it now go back almost to the Forrest, one more bad weather push and some of the dune area will be gone, with the sea able to go straight into the Forrest area on hi tide. andrew pattullo
thanks Colin ! ( a valve pipe came off , ) if in trouble wind your lines any way that's quick to get close to your kite , I also found that using your twin tip as a bouncy aid . is a great help, ./ Colin "I like your very nice new Motor !" keeps the Wife happy with tv, dvd player ! Perhaps the beach needs to learn a lesson!
Dragnfly
What's a valve pipe? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
wayne kitesurfer
It may be a bit like an expansion pipe on a small motorbike, an add on to sound/look good but doesn't really make too much difference except to the person who put it on, maybe designed to give additional boost to achieve the exceptional heights Andy gets. wayne kitesurfer
I might be wrong, but it kinda looks like you stole that picture from shutterstock??????????????
SonnyRider
It's a pipe valve from a ship. But not stolen, no. It's a link to their site, so it is still intact, where it resides
The Geoff
It's copyright infringement, not theft Out of interest, did the entire kite deflate or was it just LE? If the whole thing deflated, how did the DWP go?
wayne kitesurfer
I stand corrected, copyright infringement then it is. The whole kite deflated, and he seemed to manage ok packing down. Eventually.
