KiteBoyStu
What sort of wind range has a 15m Flysurfer Speed 2 got and has it got bags of depower or is that a myth? I'll be adding it to my quiver of an 8m FS Outlaw and a 10m Manta II, used mostly for buggy jumping. I do, however, intend to have a play on the water occasionally (as I have a board and suit etc). Obviously its great for jumping and has oodles of lift and hang time, but is it too big a gap from my 10m Manta? Should I get a 12/13m Psycho/other FS as my low wind beast. I'm happy on the 10m up to 20mph plus, but it stops working below 8... Edited September 9, 2013 by KiteBoyStu
heres jonny
Speed 2 doesn't have A massive range but it will trick you around in 5-15mph very well. The speed 3 has more range but if you've got kites to cover more wind you'll be fine for a low wind power house

twchambers
I have a Speed 2 and Manta II 10m as well. To be honest I still haven't completely clicked with the Flysurfer, and I still consider myself pretty inexperienced, so I tend to switch down to the Manta sooner than I could, rather than being overpowered. That said, I find the Manta still has reasonable power when I switch so the join in their range could be closer.

KiteBoyStu
cheers, i'm steering away from 15m anything now - reckon i'm gonna bag a 12-14m foil with a few closed cells
jimmy6
Ask your question on foilzone.com - there are loads of Speed 2 users over there.
