Just never been in the water and really wanna be a waterbaby. ha am only waterbay here lol. its hard when u move on to the water at first i thnk a lot of people by old cheap kites but there slow u down.best thing to do is get a lesson at first then spend time down the beach with other kitesurfes ask them.at my beach i got loads of help sum of the giys even let me fly there kites and stuff so i could get a feel of the diff kinds of kites.size of board/kite all depend on ur weight a lesson is a MUST thow so many giys on the water now days huw cant pack down in the water its bad.with ur weight i think a 9m would do u at first and board i would say 138/40 or there abouts call in to ur local shop there will be able to help u. ur allready half way there with land boarding so wont be long at all till u get up and runing on the water good luck.
