ezstevie
Hello, Decided to head to Ireland tomorrow for 2 weeks. Going to the Dingle peninsula (Brandon Bay area). Any tips or advice would be much appreciated - I hear there might be some waves! Have you been? Are there any particular rules/restrictions? Taking a 9m, 11m and 15m Fuel and my cheeky little F-one Impact 8m on the 18m lines for when it gets mental. Stevie

too much wind
Brandon bay is an epic place, you'll have a great time! This is a view from where i parked up my van on the beach at brandon for a week a couple of years back. No one bothers you at all and the beach where you can surf, kitesurf or buggy is just 2 secs away down a shingle bank! http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q109/two_much_wind/DSCN5344.jpg TMW

reggie8
we stayed in b&bs which cost around 30 euro a night pp. but its quite easy to camp there, we mostly kited (with westerlys) next to jamie knoxx's surf school think it was called closers (not to sure) thing and there were quite a few tents pitched up, didnt actually see any camp sites tho. sonicseal
For some crazy EU reason, Dingle doesn't appear on some maps/signs. Drive the Conner Pass. Checkout the maddest pub-shop combos. Eat County Kerry beef. Fly at Inch, Brandon, Dumps, Banna Sands, awesome places. Found Sundays to be very low-key, like our Sunday's used to be.
