braddels Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 http://www.funnyphotos.net.au/images/right-side-of-you-brain-vs-the-left-side-of-your-b.gif clockwise? or anti-clockwise? If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa. Most people would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it. LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS: uses logic detail oriented facts rule words and language present and past math and science can comprehend knowing acknowledges order/pattern perception knows object name reality based forms strategies practical safe RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS: uses feeling "big picture" oriented imagination rules symbols and images present and future philosophy & religion can "get it" (i.e. meaning) believes appreciates spatial perception knows object function fantasy based presents possibilities impetuous risk taking i see her spinning clockwise. i did manage to get her to spin anti for a bit but now i cant and its giving me a headache trying to do it again. so what does this picture say about you? Duderino Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 Well fook me im a magician, both ways on a 180 If you blink when the leg extends fully sideways she just goes from side to side. Quote
Cyprino Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 Seen this before, it always goes clockwise for me first time but I can 'make' it go anti-clockwise. Thing is, going by the left- and right-sided lists, I would describe myself as more left-brained. But my brain appears to disagree  Quote
garc Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 Oooh that's really messing my head up. She goes right to left until I put her in peripheral vision and then when I look back shes going the opposite. Thought it was a trick with it on some kind of random loop but if I then blink - she goes back the other way. Ughghgh it feels weird in my head. Make it stop. So our eyes can be deceived then ? Quote
Zippy Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 I can switch between left and right directions quite easily. I just close my eyes and think which way its going to go and when I reopen them low and behold she is rotating that way, everytime! Does this mean I use both sides of my brain equally? Quote
wezzie Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 Nope can't make it change direction I'm far too regimented...... Quote
zimmer Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 I wish they'd put the lights on cause she looks naked and fit Quote
martin Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 If it was a pic of a real girl instead of a silhouette, no one would give a damn what way she was spinning Quote
Nick1599968727 Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 freaky, if i look away and decide the direction of spin thats the way she goes Quote
KciN Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 i can only see her turning anti clockwise hmm... what that mean then Quote
KciN Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 wtf... clockwise now... wow, should of waited till i posted lol... good one Quote

Gregga Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 i can get both, just got to imagine spinning one way and you see it Quote
Batz Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 Typical forking woman. She spins clockwise no matter how hard I try to make her go the other way! FML! Quote
williamjames555 Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 im the same a batz shes not turning anticlock wise its impossible ! Quote
JizzMonkey Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Anit clockwise is all i can get it to do. Stupid things doing my head in now not being able to change it. Quote
Zippy Posted July 15, 2010 Report Posted July 15, 2010 Look at the sticky out arm on her. If you see it as her left arm try imagining it being her right arm and look away for a second then try looking again. Also imagine her spinning the other way too. The power of the mind is quite remarkable if you can access it Quote
kites_are_4_me Posted July 15, 2010 Report Posted July 15, 2010 if u blink every time she stretches her leg to either sde, she does a 180 each way. awesome stuff Quote
rob91193 Posted July 15, 2010 Report Posted July 15, 2010 only clockwise and a massive headache Quote
festa Posted July 15, 2010 Report Posted July 15, 2010 i can control her direction by watching the feet Quote
Zippy Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 Hey that link is pretty good ^^^^ A simple explaination of how it works. I just tried the left right swap on those and it was easy to do but, I just challenged myself to try and get them both spinning in opposite directions. After about 3-4 minutes I sussed it I had the left girl spinning clockwise and the right counter clockwise. Both of their arms that are sticking out came from the rear to the front through the center part of the screen. What I did notice when you do it is that the sticky out arms of the dancers come through the center part of the screen at different times and not together. A bit like an electric food mixer with 2 stirring blades does. Clever! Just tried it again to see if i can get them both spinning the opposite way, in opposing directions and managed it within 30 secs. Quote
