Krazy Kiter Posted January 9, 2010 Report Posted January 9, 2010 the battons are there for a reaon. leave em be. it will give you a decent wind range, from about 10mph to 30ish. something i want to try on mine is rigging both the 4 line mode and 5 line mode at the same time, apparently it gives the 4 line performance with the safety of the 5th line. I used to have a 10 and a 16m Best Bulls and the battons didnt seem to do a great deal. The 5th line safety sounds good if you plan to take it out in big winds.l Quote
Krazy Kiter Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 well the battons hold the trailing edge out to prevent fluttering, which massively reduces the efficency of the whole kite. best to try and get some replacements, shouldnt cost much at all tbh. try your local kiteshop. Quote
