boat man Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 I just did my Pass Plus with my instructor and part of it is skid control and heavy traffic. So the morning we went to the near by aerodrome and did some hand brake turns and stuff and then headed down to london. On the way back there were some people being complete tards on the road just wheel spinning and not going anywhere. it got to the point where there was a crash so we ended up taking 4 hours to do a mile. At one point there was a slight hill we had to go up before the crash and ther were just endless amounts of people skidding and loosing control and I just rolled gently past in a little diesel corsa. Makes you wonder sometimes when people just try and berry the right foot and hope :/ Quote

Makes you wonder when they're going to get the message... It is quite impressive though when you see them managing to generate tyre smoke Quote

boat man Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 unfortunaltly ive already passed so no L-Plates but i did say to him to stick them on to plug himself a bit. But i was just going past bmw's, Audis and mercs that were just sat there spinning holding up the traffic. I think everyone should be taken out in the snow by someone qualified and get taught how to drive on the stuff properly. Quote
