whats the best way to play music

i used to have a nad cd player for playing music at home but this has broken and beyond repair, is there any other way to play cd's through a amplifier and speakers it must be remote control to change albums.

I believe the computer you are looking at right now has a CD/DVD drive in it. And CD players are widely available in most high street electrical stores and online outlets. And it sounds like you have an amp and speakers....

when i play my laptop through the amp the music pauses for a second then starts again, not very good when you are trying to impress a lady

Get a bluetooth thing for your computer, put all songs on phone with bluetooth, Buy pa/guitar amp. Wireless music and full navigation and selection of songs!

Why a guitar amp?

 

Why not get a decent hifi amp and some floor standing speakers and run your laptop / desktop through that

ive a technics amp and 4x jamo 90 speakers make me a offer if ya like .your just need a cd player .

 

my set up is my mac book on itunes plugged into acoustic energy aego p4 surround set up . i then use my ipod touch as a wifi remote .

 

another good thing about using a laptop is spotify free music streaming .

I have my tv plugged into my amp with 2 floor standing speakers, so can play music through the ps3 or dvd or SD slot on the TV... even my PC if i wish

i also have a NAD CD player, DAB Rad and stuff if i don't want to run TV

 

But this is all in the same area of the room in a built in cupboard hiding all the wiring

had 3 cd players,want to get rid of the cd stand,i thought about a ipod dock plugged into my amp for the lounge,then get another dock to take into bedroom
