Liquid Force 09 Harnesses

thinking of getting an 09 liquid force harness but stuck whether i should get the comp harness or the luxury one? which is better in your opinion and haa anyone out there got one?

I have had both, I had the luxury last year and have just bought a comp a few weeks ago.

This years luxury is nicer than last years though, its got more padding and has the webbing strap to hold down the speader bar like on the mystic harnesses so it doesnt ride up.

I found the luxury a bit hard to start with, needed quite a bit of wearing in to get in comfy and fitted to your body, but once that was done its was all good. Can spin around your body a bit if you are walking along way with your kite to one side, like the massive walk out the the sea at Greatstone!

The comp I have just got is already worn in, took about a week to wear in nicely, that is a week of wind everyday with teaching all day though!

 

The comp sits slightly higher up your body as the webbing set up on the spreader bar is different to the luxury. I have found it tends not to spin around your body as much as the luxury, think there is a bit more padding at the back which hold it better.

 

I have been happy with both, depends how much you want to spend I suppose?

 

The sizes come up pretty large, if you cant try them on and are buying online I would go a size down. I have a thin waist so had to go S but my one also fits my brother very well who is usually a M and it also can fit L guys nicely
