p5ety Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Hi all, I have purchased a second hand seat harness and it has quite a bit of cow muck ground into it. Can anyone recommend a good way of cleaning it? My wife theought we could put it inside a pillow case (to protect the washing machine) and put it on a 40deg wash! Not sure what materials are under the covering so not sure if this method would damage the harness. Anyones help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance Peety Quote

crut Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Place harness on you, go kiteboard, there will be no crap on it after a good session. Quote
parksy Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Sort of depends what you're concerned about, if it's germs, spray with antibac, if it grass stains, vanish spray , if it dirt/shit/mud, then damp sponge, stubborn mud/shit, go for wet sponge and scrubbing brush. Or take kinny advice, drink 2 bottles white lightning and you wont care what it looks or smells like:D Quote
p5ety Posted June 24, 2009 Author Report Posted June 24, 2009 cheers guys I take it nobody would consider putting it in the washing machine then? I will get the hot soapy spunge on the job. Many thanks again. btw. the harness is for my son so didn't want to give it to him smelly! lol Quote
riko_bananas Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 I would have a go at scrubbing it first with some vanish. If you put it in the washing machine it might come out all floppy or something. Quote
Mad-Fly Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 Pressure wash it quick clean and simple:) Quote
