pierre Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 @ DJ-JT: I just said "I believe you might" not "you have been ripped off". It is just a possibility. I have bought on the forum a 15m Fusion a couple of years a go from a famous member of this forum. The kite was supposed to be in an excellente condittion.... Well when I received it the kite was looking great however, the seams on le LE were burst in one place, the batten were sanpped and so on... (firtunatly, I got my money back) As you are aware, not everybody is honnest. And since Jonathand mentionned he bought the kite second hand I just wrote what I believe, which is fair enough in my opinion. @Jonathand: I am afraid I find it weird that after a year someone comes and say this kite built quality is not good... I am sure we would have heard people complaining about it before if it was that bad As for the Yarga, I was just having a laught so take it easy. Finally, I certainlly walk the walk but we are not in the same category I believe as it sounds like you are still at the learning stage looking at how bad you manage to slam your kites Fly safe Quote

Spudley Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 I strongly suspect Pierre's walk is more of a 'mince' Quote

HOFY9 Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 my mate hadlow had bladder showin on tip and on centre strut Hope he's OK now. Needs to be at full fitness to keep winning those championships!! Quote
SKEER Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 I feel this thread has gone a tad off topic, so to get back to the original question.. In comparison to ruben lenten, hadlow's build quality i would say is fairly medioacre. http://www.bufeo.net/fotos2007-III/Aaron-Hadlow_1.jpg I mean, just look at that stacking, those abs.. mmm. http://www.aloha.lv/upload/Lenten%20walk.jpg I think in a direct comparison to Slingshot, flexifoils R&D budget this year should be put towards a new turbo gym, that and a different hair stylist. As for which rides best, i wouldnt know. You'd have to ask somone with experience in the matter. Like wenglish. Quote
gravyboat Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 WTF http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1348/592646123_761d4d279f.jpg pump it baby!!! http://www.nexussurf.com/images_models/2008/mod_right_1.jpg http://www.vagueo.com/blog/images/kite/susi_mai.jpg http://www.boardseekermag.com/windsurfing_lifestyle/Boardseeker_babes/pics/082/082_babe_3.jpg now thats good build quality Quote
HOFY9 Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 Nice build quality on 1st and 3rd, but anorexia just does not do it for me! Quote
Kite Kid Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 nuber 2 suportinf flexi and there nexus i c she likes it old skl Quote
hankster Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 i'll probably get slated for saying this, but even though this is a flexifoil forum i'm gonna post it anyhoo.flexifoil in my eyes are very hyped up kites, boards and everything else really, there are brands out there with far better build quality,gin/advance/& u-turn to name a few.there's also better lei's like slingshot,& f-one.ozone have good build quality too but still only a little better than flexi imho.
