DaveA Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 Great to see Level One back in the game after going missing for a while. Quote
steve_hobart Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 Agreed - but $410 for a level 1 team kite seems pretty high...... cheers steve Quote
DaveA Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 Yeah, i was disappointed to see the prices too (of the Gentleman). Ive always like L1 stuff, i still have my Genesis Evo and Jump, but cant see myself adding to that here. The JJF Excalibur looks very tasty but the price is But the "Matzel" editions looks interesting. Quote
Jason Posted May 5, 2010 Author Report Posted May 5, 2010 I guess the new team kite is relevant to it's competitors- Krystal, Q-Pro, Prediction. As for the JJF, I'm getting the Excalibur and a UL to go with my standard. Can't resist as for some reason the JJF just works for me. Quote
KaoS Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 Agreed - but $410 for a level 1 team kite seems pretty high...... cheers steve ...says the man who bought a Nirvana SE ... twice! (and now has a couple of Fearless in the bag??) Seriously Steve, Level One make great kites. This seems about the same price as comparable European kites right now Kevin Willunga, S.A. Quote
steve_hobart Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 how true... what can I say (I only started flying Lam's kites because you lent me your very nice Sea Devil a while back Kevin - so I blame the Fearless set on you!! ) Actually I flew a JJF a year or so ago on loan and was impressed (quality and flight) but the Fearless got in the way of the purchase... I think I need a Level 1 in my bag...... now just need some $ !! cheers steve Quote

Jas, after seeing your latest video on you-tube, i can honestly see why you like the JJF... Now all i have to do is see if you have "ex-discount" kites laying around for purchase.... Any chance of trying a JJF down at Clontarf sometime over the weekend??? Quote
matzelkite Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 I can bring a standard JJF and JJF Matzel Edition if you like to have a go, sorry I'd don't have the Excalibur yet but I will get one. Cheers Quote
