Great for kiting if you ride on grass or rough surfaces. A touch heavier than a trampa/MBS, but worth it for the added strength & the lovely smoooooth ride imo. The trucks will never bend & if you do bend a 12mm wheel bolt then its a quid to replace rather than new trucks.... Fit light wheels & straps & they work out ok weight wise. The softest rubbers & they turn ok with no speed wobbles.

Its a solid board for riding fast & hard. So many options to fine tune the ride to your style & weight.

A touch heavier??? and the rest especially if running 9" for rough grass :p lol

Yes they are supper strong, but they dont turn the best with just straps on as the deck is so flexible, so work best with full bindings.

I ride on hills and rough ground all the time (Trampa/revo style) and have used a NoSno, and its not great with a kite :(

If you strip it down/replace bits to keep the weight down and make it more "throwaboutable" you are just as well off with the MBS/Trampa options, in fact more so.

NB When I say throwaboutable, I mean being able to pop and jump turns to get you out of problems, as while the NoSno is great at following gullies, drop offs and bomb holes when kiting you can not always follow them. As the gully may go one way and teh kite needs to take you another, so being able to pop and jump about on teh board is essential.

NoSnos are not so good at that as they are so flexible, great for landing big hits/drop offs, but not so good for popping/jumping.

Take a look at the down hillers, NoSno are used all the time in downhilling/big drops, but for freestyle/jumping rarely if at all.

But as I said sweet boards, but better options out there for less.

Oh yes have you seen the price

Works ok for me. Nowt I cant do on it that I could on a trampa... ;)

The nosno kite decks give you room for your feet, so bindings aren't required. The flex is quite different to the trampa, its got less 'bounce' to it, so it feels like it absorbs landings rather than pinging back which my 14ply short trampa would do. I think it weighs about 7.5ish kg?? New truck hangers are milled out, so I guess they would shave another 250g off maybe?

Yes they are quite expensive, but they last, dont rust & all the bits are easily replaceable.

I had a nosno , but found the deck much too flexi for kiting - so Ted at Trampa made me a deck for a good price and i fitted the trucks to it.

It's not the lightest board in the world as i use quite big wheels , but it's great for cruising down the beach.
