Sand-Yeti Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 It is a sad enditment on this government and its former Leader who undoubtedly saw it coming and bolted through the preverbiable stable door leaving the caretaker to clean up. economic terroism is a far easier way to attack all that is unholy in their eyes!! Undermine our financial stability and the ability to wage war on its people becomes harder to substantiate. Good rant cookie121 I like the bit about Tony leaving the sinking ship. I don't think the economic crisis is an Islamic thing. The global credit crunch we are experiencing has not left any country off of the hook. We have a general slow down on projects here and don't see any new projects looming on the horizon. The Arabs are crying because of the huge drop in oil prices and the banks won't lend them any money so that they can sustain their lavish life style. I can't see you guys in the UK shedding a tear about that. Quote
windy Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 Kitegirl, you make me laugh and i thank you for it. Irrelevant....... LMAO!! Quote
flysurfer1080 Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 Woolies main rival now on the highstreet has got to be wilkinsons, they stock all the same $h!te but at a fraction of the cost & its always busy in Rhyl & woolies is dead! Quote
Steve1599968621 Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 PS And yes, it was Thatcherism and free market economics, not Tony that led us to this. But, apart from that bit, I'm irrelevant? I think pigs, chickens and trees under the bed is not a bad idea either. Actually, looking back on last night's postings you may have a point. Jack Daniels was fuelling my posts. Quote

On a scale of irrelevant maybe you've not quite hit the bell yet, but just because you're maybe not quite at Windy's level of irrelevance does not mean you're not irrelevant. Because you are. And the odd 'on track' post will not fool us into thinking otherwise. Capisce? Quote
kitegirl Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 PS How will you fit the pigs into the shoe boxes? Quote
Steve1599968621 Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 I'll raise my bed. Stupid. It's the trees I'm more worried about to be honest. How am I gonna get them up the stairs? Quote

Maddog-Pete1599968700 Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 the only part that baffles me is how the frosties tiger had an effect on things? Quote
kitegirl Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 I'll raise my bed. Stupid. It's the trees I'm more worried about to be honest. How am I gonna get them up the stairs? Reach out your bedroom window and pull them straight outta the ground and in, avoiding any need for stairs. It's a no-brainer Quote
Steve1599968621 Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 It's odd isn't it Windy, how Kitegirl won't post for a week or two, but post some 'irrelevance' and she'll be running in, posting on our coat-tails, wanting some of the irrelevant action. Quote

The Flyin Scotsman Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 I've always found it hilarious how people were blaming Tony for the financial problems in the UK, when actually it was the treasurer at the time setting the budgets (granted I'm sure its not just him deciding on what goes where, but he's the top man), funnily enough that happened to be brown. Our old economics teacher at high school was always very impressed with Browns track record at managing the budget etc. and managing to balance everything so well for so long, I guess it just had to end sometime... Kev Quote

Just that I'd spotted it, as usual. In case anyone else hadn't. Go on Steve, you'll have to pull a bit harder to get that Oak out, mighty long roots those blighters have, shoulda planted conifers instead. That'll teach you. A bit of forward planning n that thing cliche stuff . Quote

No ranting involved Are you ranting? How very unlike a Scot Quote
