m.klinge Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 Hiya Ive just ordered a GoPro HD Helmet cam - but i would like to toy around with different angels (For landboarding) So i was wondering if anybody are have any tips on how to kitemount it? And what about line mounting? I know about the kitehero mount, but that only seems to work when youre having 4 lines fra the bar, and not the Y-line setup the access uses //M Quote
Goz Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 You would still be able to use the kite hero mount you would just attach it just above where the Y line meets. Other than mounting it to the lines I can't see any other way you would be able to mount a camera to a depower foil. Quote

Oh yea that would be a thing to try out - i dont know if the weight distribution would be abit off if i place the camera where the two lines seperate from each other - and if the angel are too wide between the two lines... Naa i didnt really think i would be able to fit the cam at the kite being a foil - but gotta ask //M Quote
jabroni Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 This is a GoPro wide on a bulldog clip on the Spar of a 10m ARC. I've heard of people mounting the camera to something firm, then velcroing it the underside of the kite - this again was an ARC - It might distort/collapse an open cell kite... GoPro's are indestructable! Quote
