Ipod HElp

i have all my music and ipod on computer A, about 12 gig

 

But i want to put it on computer B

 

 

whats the fastest way to do it, and can i keep my original itunes settings. i.e playlists ratings etc?

use an external hard drive or put your computer A hard drive into computer B

 

you can't copy songs from the Ipod to a computer (Itunes)

You need to download a program that will rip the songs from the ipod, i forgot which one i used just have a google, theres plenty out there that will do it.

You can use a program called idump to take songs from an ipod and put them onto any other pc. LINK

You can just enable disk use and hten copy all the files onto the ipod itself instead of through itunes

You could try doing either method, then maybe use File => Library => export library. Then transfer that library xml file to your 2nd pc?

 

I can't abide itunes and never use it so it's only a guess, but I'm sure if you play about with it, you can do it.
