What wetsuit??

I am planning on buying a wetsuit for the winter months in Scotland, how thick would you all say I need? Ideally i would like to use it in the summer also.

 

What are all your thoughts?? What do you wear??

i wear a 5/3 in north west england maybe 6/3 in scotland depending on how much blubber you carry

 

its common for people to say try different brands to find what fits you best but with the new extra stretchy neoprene some of the more expensive ones have they all fit well, although that is still true if you are going cheap

 

ive got this one in 5/3 but they also have the 6/3 on there, realy good suit super stretchy and warm

Well ive just got the new 5/3 Mystic Cure this morning from old Tommy boy from Kiteitright and it seems great tbh.

I was a bit hesitent at first as my old 5/3 Oniell Evo was a fantatsic winter suit but this is actually better!

Its extremely cumfy as its got 100% flex and it fits like a glove which is the main thing with wetsuits tbh.

Id go for a 5/3 wetsuit, if you find yourself getting a bit cold in Jan Feb time, then just buy a thermal rash and you should be fine.

The only bit on me that gets cold are my hands really.

I use a Mystic 5/3 with a good rash vest, gloves and boots. Do you know your size? i have some clearance ones if interested
