Well here it is my first attempt at writing a revue I have a bullet 3.5 and a blade III 3m. I have three kids aged 6, 9 and 12. So I decided to purchase a smaller kite for them to use.

I read the revues and we had very few places to try kites out new in Adelaide.

So I got onto Goshen at kite power in Geelong he had already sold me a PL Buggy. (It?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s his entire fault that I?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢m getting into this sportJ) I was looking at buying another bullet or a buster 2 as a blade was out of the question for the kids. Well Goshen recommended the Rage 2.5 no hard sell.

Well it arrived last Friday and could not wait to try it out. Kids and I checked the weather looked good nice and light for them to try it out, so we waited for Saturday, got ready and loaded up of to the beach.

Well first impressions it?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s a flexifoil I need not say any more you all no the deal. I unwrapped the kite sanded it down, Bars come with kite killers, unwrapped the lines from the former they come on connected them to the kite, they are all colour coded solid red to front left red strip to brake right.

Blue to front right and blue stripe to right brake. Run lines down to handles, heres were the first unbelievable problem happened, red line blue line and TWO (2) yes 2 blue stripped lines :? . Mmmm after me telling and showing the kids see Gumby proof colour coding you can?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t go wrong  .

Walked back up and sorted out lines and checked them. Come to the decision that that set must have been made on a Monday morning after a big party weekend. Well connected them up to the right handles forgetting the colour coding.

Wind was blowing about 10 to 12 knts, launched the kite and wow!! it went straight to the top very easy to launch started moving it in the normal figure of eight, very quick smooth as, turned it flipped it swooped it chucked it to the edge of the window and it was rock sold. The edges did not fold like the bullet some times does, like if you move the bullet to the edge and try to turn it to fast and produce a stall.

Next lets try landing pulled on the brakes teased it down and sat on the sand like a well trained puppy dog. Again no twisting and curling like a bullet just went down smooth as.

So far extremely impressed, totally forgiven flexifoil for the mistake in the brake lines.

Ok kids turn now Arin 12 year slips on the kite killers he launches kite starts doing his stuff he has only flown a bullet 3.5 twice and used a trainer a few times I?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢m away setting up the other kite and all I hear him shout is ?¢‚Ǩ?ìDAD THIS IS SIC REAL SIC?¢‚Ǩ¬ù can we keep it please.

He then proceeded to try out the MTB, on the beach pulled him off the board a few times and then that was it, of he went into the sunset. He then starts trying to come back up wind with it and slowly succeeding, he is sold on it. I tried it out in the buggy it was a bit light for me but it generated good power in up and down motion purely from the speed it achieved and got me going.

Well if your thinking of traction kite good feeling in the air then I don?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t think you can go wrong with the rage. I haven?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t tried many other foil brands but don?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t really look like a will as I was looking at a larger maybe a second hand bullet but not now I?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢m saving up for a larger rage I?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢m Sold on them.

This is a kite that you can learn on, but will never outgrow :D:D:D

sinbad

Oh and thanks Goshen for helping me spend my Money well spent thanks :)

Hi

Yes i never got to try the buster. But i do also kite surf and fly Liquid force LEI's as well and with most kites you get what you pay for.

The flexi quilty i think is spot on, no crossed or missed stitches all that sort of thing.

Also second hand value there seems to be no problem selling a second hand bullet, rage or blade and they seem to keep there price well.
