well i got up to 54kph today at conway beach on my new buggy, and as everyone has stated, over 50 is bloody fast with ya butt 3 inches from the sand.

managed to flip the buggy 4 or 5 times too, gotta get used to the narrow rear axle, and the back wheels dont slide in the softer sand, do they baggsy, he did it once or twice too i think.

peter,

A PL comp buggy has a wheel base suited to competitions and tricks.

When I started to go fast, just due to their size and lack of side rail support, they tended to make me feel real vulnerable. Also I am a big bloke, not just my mouth, and they always made me feel like I was riding a postage stamp, at speed anyway.

Cheers

oh, i know now that they are for tricks etc. not speed, but finding out these things by being spat out the side doin a too fast turn is all part of the fun.

doin a sharp turn at about 25kph, feeling the wheel lift and seeing the sand approach as i'm thinking this is gonna hurt, is all part of what i call fun.

i'm lovin it mate, havin a blast.

i know i'll be two wheelin very soon, did a few attempts yesterday, and all that happened was the foot peg dig in and over she went. i'll get the hang of it, one day.

even did some reverse flying, and i ment to

and did some wicked fish tailin ~~~~~ mate you should have seen the smile on my dial.
