This is not only a light wind kite it is an ultra light wind kite.. What does that mean
I don't know I'll let you know when I try It.
Yes I'm biased cause these are the kites I fly, but my comments are based on my experience out on the water with all my mates out on the water with all sorts of kites and bigger sizes. Mind you I'm flying a 15.5 solo at the moment with a Noble flying carpet and I'm the only one going up wind even against larger kites. So imagine what I'll be able to achieve with the 17.5m Solo.
This kite will be the lightest 17.5 meter LEI kite on the market, because they have taken off all Dacron material, it has one strut and the bridal lines are now none stretch 300kg flying lines to allow for less drag through the air.
I'll be trying out the 17.5m demo next week and I'll be giving my 2 dollars worth.
