    dakine fusion (seat harness)

After alot of carefull deliberation i decided to buy a dakine fusion seat harness!

I had ordered this at the same time as my 14m frenzy. The reason i decided to go for a seat harness over a waist harness was due to the fact that,

    A) i liked the idea of the power coming from lower down as this gave me the idea it would be safer and have more controll than having power coming from my waist upwards
    B) I had read reviews saying waist harness can ride up and this is the last thing i wanted to be messing with while i was flying.

I chose the dakine fusion as it had been suggested by airboss world, because it has alot of support.

Im a 34-36 waist and the XL is comfortable. i would say it fits perfectly for this size rider. The harness isnt the easiest to walk around in as it has so much padding and is rigid for support, i dont mind this so much because i like the safety, and also being larger myself i wont be doing big freestyle moves like some can, so its perfect for me, however if i was smaller and lighter and wanted more movement i would try a lighter padded version or a waist harness.

Build quality is excellent, well put together and durable, its an expensive item but will more than likely outlast other cheaper makes.

i can hold down the big frenzy comfortably with this harness, if anyone is in a similar position to me looking for a harness for there new depower, then i would recommend the fusion!!! however do take into account it can be restrictive but if this doesnt matter then i doubt there a more comfortable harness on the market. pm me if theres anything you would like to know, thanks!

gotta agree with this...i chose the same harness for the same reasons. the harness has now softened up a little from the 'brand new' state and feels more comfortable. recommended buy in my opinion.

Good harnesses, mines going well after 2 years with no problems. The best feature is the four point attachment on either side so you can adjuster the spreader hieght - eliminates the need for a spreader bar IMHO. Selling mine now as a little to big, should have gone medium!

I thought it was an awful harness IMHO! Way too cumbersome, I am more at home in my Northshore Slalom... cheap and forgiving! Where can I get a new one of those... BTW I sold my Fusion without even hooking into a kite with it!

@Offshore - not really a buggy harness, I struggle to sit in a buggy with mine. And yes, they ain't that comfy to wear unless you have a large amount of forward pull from the spreader, but once you are flying they are nice.

i find mine very comfortable while flying. walking isnt the easiest but then it wasnt designed for that! recommended!

Bought the Dakine Fusion recently too! The decision was largley based on the fact that they did an XXL. Not at all disappointed. Fits like a velvet glove (for the ar5e!) but I agree it makes you walk like the 'turtles head' is popping out! Very interesting getting used to the pull from the waist, and adjusting the strop for optimum performance, but great to learn something new! Seth
