I bought this kite about a year ago form my local kite shop (Kites Up). I got it home ready to fly it but it was raining. I was so excited about flying it but the weather was terrible. Finally i managed to get it out for my first time.
It took me a little bit of time to get it up into the air because i was used to flying sport kites. When i got it up i felt a big pull, then i looked and the kite was just spinning around out of control. i landed it and found that one of the caps that was supposed to be on the end of the bar was missing, i took it back to the shop, they gave me a new cap and some spares and i was off.
When i eventually got round to flying it properly it was awsome. It had the power to drag me along a field in winds of around 20mph. I took it out in winds of 35mph and it lifted me off the ground.
This kite is brilliant, i have crashed it many times and haven't had any other troubles. The build quality on the kite is brilliant (apart form the cap being missing). It has amazing controllability for its power.
This kite is best suited to recreational flying and getting long scudds.
I would recommend this kite for anybody that has had experience with kites but wants to start power kiting. I also recomend that for your first few goes you make sure you are wih somebody that can help you if anything goes wrong. It was well worth the money. (£130)
