    Flexifoil Sting

    The Sting is a nicely built kite (Flexifoil quality), nicely packed and VERY easy to set up and fly (I am a TOTAL beginner and got it ready and flying in 10 minutes).

    I am a total beginner and wanted a kite to learn the basic moves before I get to some serious action. I flew the sting in all condition (from 3 mph to 30mph gusty) and it never gives enough pull to scare you but enough to understand what you could not do with a larger kite. Because it is small it reacts very quickly to commands and increases the driver sensibility. In a week I learned to take off, land, turn in all conditions and situations. It really helped me master all maneuvers and now I feel ready for something bigger (Bullet 4.5 or Sam)

    Overall

    PROS: Great kite to learn maneuvers if you are a beginner who wants to take it one step at a time. Very quick. Good also for your kids (better than the buzz because the stinger has 4 lines and therefore more ability to control). Great kite to start if you want to feel what kiting could lead too.

    CONS: You will grow over it very quickly (1 month) and will like something "real".

    Nice review of that little kite. I can confirm that the kite is built very well!!! In fact it is built so well, that I'd say you may fly it under any conditions - I asked myself for which storm they built it that good, it's just a beginners kite ... or maybe that for. Compared with my 1.5 Bullet, it has considerably less power but I suppose it will be very fast is stronger winds :-)

    I too have just acquired one of these for my 7 year old son, he test flew one at extreme kites and took to it like a duck to water, he has been flying a 2.1 little devil but has been overpowered to quickly by this in stronger winds, this is just perfect and the build quality is exceptional, fortunately due to his age and lightweight I hope he gets a years flying out of this, would have to agree with your review:-)

    got myself a sting a week or so ago ive been saving up for ages and its got me totaly hooked. It doesnt pull that much but its still realy fun to fly as its so fast!!! Only thing is now i want a bigger one!!!! its also pretty good for getting your girl friend involved (it wont scare her like a 3 or 4m kite!!!) and so saves arguements!!!! id give it 7/10 if your a newbie like me id say a good reveiw in general

    I dont have a sting....yet, so i am really interested to read other peoples thoughts before i part with any cash.

    Sting is a good for learning the basic control and braking its taught me a few things before i move on to bigger, better and more powerfull kites. Good review
