  1. My pal got an ipod mini fo £140 all in. Thats not a bad saving since there £170 or something in John Lewis. I love ebay though!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Im looking to buy a new (bigger) kite in the near future after the winter winds have passed. Im wondering if i should fork out for a depowerable (eg Frenzy) or stick with fixed (eg a Blade) Not thought about sizes as I'm not sure how confident i'll be when the time comes? Any thoughts you be ace???????
  3. If your talking about my mini van....im afraid to say that it doesn't have a sunroof. If your talking about someone elses.......I'd love to know another mini van owner
  4. I think we should change it to......... "that thing where you stand on a board thing and get pulled along by a big giant kite thing" I think its got a ring to it
  5. Nice picture man. Is that the prototype or is it the final version? I had the earlier model but it was just the 0.15m, it still gave massive pull though. Have you got the "parafoil of death" insured? I hear that they are sought after pieces of kit!!!!!

    how often??

I just started in september so im flying as much as i can at the moment. I fly at least once every weekend and maybe once or twice during the week. Wanna get the basics nailed for the summer. But got uni exams approaching so might have to stop the midweek flying
  7. Im liking the sound of this uni flyers thingy. You should all come up to glasgow.....we've got good flying sites pretty close like, Stevenston, Troon, Irvine and........St Andys is only about an hour and a halfs drive away. Would definatelty consider a students tour of the best flying sites in the country next summer. Get a van....pack the kites in and just live out the van at the beaches....it would be awesome.
  8. Im at glasgow uni......you should all come so we can start a landboarding club, woohoo. There is a kitesurf and windsurf club but they don't let me play cause i board on the land. Ah well. You can't beat the old student loan.....just think of the kites!!!!!!!! It's great, haha!
  9. Ah, I have also thought about this. Last year i took the wheels and trucks off my skateboard and went down some hills but it was really difficult. Im tempted to try it with the kite but im not sure what will happen!!!!!!
  10. Yup....good clips man. Gotta get the chicks in it though.
  11. Hey man. I'll defo be down Saturday. The winds on Guru look quite good and it's a shorter drive than St Andys. Look out for a wee blue mini estate covered in skate stickers. Or my 3m samurai dragging me out to sea.
  12. Hey, I cant wait to get out this weekend but unsure whether to go Troon or St Andrews? Where would people recommend? I've only ever flown a few times so don't want winds to strong?
  13. My car is covered in stickers. Mainly bought from various skate and surf shops but you can get lots on ebay for really cheap. As far as free ones go i don't know.....sorry.
  14. I'm going to get my kit today: 3m Samurai Scrub Furnace Creek Pads Helmet and a lesson All for £420. Thought this was a good price, so if anyone is in Troon today you'll probably see a young lad being dragged out to sea
  15. Ahhhh......what to buy? Its either a 3m Samurai with Silver Reef for £340 or 3m Samurai with Kheo Air-S for £355? Or get a Furnace Creek instead and spend the bit extra. What do you all think?
  16. Hi, Im hopefully buying my kit this week and was wondering if there are any Scottish dudes out there that board around the troon area? Is it worth getting some tuition or just go it alone?
