Im about the same build as you and am using a Dakine Pyro '06 with spreader bar pad, make sure u get the pad!! I also went from a fusion and found it just as comfy and was easier change over.

For sale, RRD type 7, 5meter the kite is in pefect condition and has only left the bag once. It is the 2006 RRD type 7 and will fit most 5line bars. This kite helped Lewis Crathern become BKSA british champion in 2006. Kite only, colour is blue with white writing. £150

For Sale, I recently ripped my 2005 7m slingshot fuel at the leading edge and also blew the bladder. I have taken it to the loft and they quoted the full repair would cost £150 or £75 without the new bladder. This can be done cheaper if you have the time and patients to unpick the stitching and get and fit your own bladder. I have neither time or patients and am also in the process of getting some new kit so i am selling as it is. Other than that a great kite. Any offers??????

I am sellin my nearly new RRD type 7 5 meter. Colour is blue with white RRD writing on, the kite is in perfect condition and has only been out of the bag once. The type 7 is the kite that helped Lewis Crathern become british champion in 2006. Kie only looking for around £150 Would make an ideal strong wind kite or perfect beginners kite.

I wud have to agree if yr just startin out kiteloops i wudnt do it at the top of yr jump unless on landing it otherwise you will get yanket higher and hit the water quicker because u will probably stop pulling and allow the kite to go close to the water yankin you at full pelt down i wud do it in slighty lighter wind and hold bk your edge for aslong a possible. Try them with backloops aswell some people find it easier.
