It was looking a bit grey yesterday but the wind was picking up so I thought I'd head down to the beach. I ended up chatting to a couple of lads scudding around the beach with a blade III for about 10 mins and by the time I started unwinding my Bullet there was already a light spitting rain.
By the time I had the kite up it had started raining even heavyier so I jumped on the board and had one quick run. After I'd finished I put sand on the kite to hold it down and wound the lines. When I got to the kite it was soaking and covered in wet sand so I packed it up and took it home.
I unpacked it in my room and layed it on my couch to dry but now my room stinks of cockles and other shell fish.
Has anybody got any other tips on how to dry a wet kite? Particularly in a small place.
