  1. I've dropped the seat on my flexi buggy about 3" by tying it on to the tubes with parachute cord, instead of threading the loops through the side tubes. I had to bring the front tube in a bit, and you end up a lot more horizontal. The buggy seems very different machine now..... much harder to fall out of, and quicker to steer (possibly because my weight is nearer the back axle). Much more fun, and easy to change back if you want. On the down side, your elbows and hands are much closer to the wheels. Anybody else tried modifying the seat? Ben
  2. Craig, you are right that there are more expensive options around. If your design course includes marketing, then you will need to show that you have thought about who buys the stuff you have designed, what they bought before your product became available, and why they will buy your design instead. Is it cheaper, is it better, is it trendier, etc. What problem are you trying to solve with your design? I use an old sports bag, that fits in the buggy seat as I pull it to the beach. Stuff doesn't fall out, and I don't have a problem without axle stands. Your design will have to offer me something I need, as well as being cheaper than than the alternative. Cheers, and keep designing stuff. It's more fun than just buying it. Ben
  3. Craig, For forty quid or so, i would want an extremely good tool box, even if it did double up as an axle stand. Your design does what it is supposed to do, it's just that it doesn't do anything I've always wanted to be able to do and haven't been able to do. I doubt it would improve my quality of life enough to make me want to spend much money on it. Cheers Ben
  4. Now I'm confused. I've got my buggy like the one in the photo.......is there supposed to be a different way of assembling it? Ben
