  1. Cheers Sean - will try the place at Birdham. I've never heard of it before but it couldn't be closer. Saturday looks proper good so I'll be out somewhere even I sail down to West Witt.
  2. Where I've probably done too much self launching (and therefore skidding on the sand) I've got a small tear in the centre of the leading edge of my 13 07 Waroo where the patch is sewn that the bridle attach's too. I've done a search but couldn't find this actual problem. Can anyone advise a DIY repair? I've tryed the usual sail tape that works on the actual canopy but will not stay stuck on the LE. Also tryed sewing a patch on but the material is too tough to get through as there is a backing inside the LE which stops the bladder ballooning through. Alternatively are there anywhere repairers near to Chichester? Many thanks
  3. Hi, It's the Black and Red version - I can email to a picture if you PM me your email address. Cheers James
  4. I can't believe it myself - the kite really is in excellent condition. Only thing I can think is the very un-summer like winds we have been having recently has made people forget about the bigger kites!

    Waroo 9 or 7

I bought the 7 and 13m 07 Waroos about 2 months ago and having been using both kites almost continously. I weigh 11 1/2 stone and was on the 13m yesterday on a strapless surfboard in 8-10 knots (10 knots was needed to stay upwind i would say), and have used it on days when the wind has picked up to over 20 knots comfortably. By that time the 7m is fine (minimum about 20 knots I'd say) - the big difference is the speed of the 7m, it's like flying a 2 line stunt kite! I bought the 7m rather than the 9m because i wanted to be able to go out over the winter when it gets proper windy like we've been having. In the summer you may get more use out of the 9m but i personally find the 2 compliment each other well.
  24. Hi, I got your PM but don't know how to reply to that! Kite is in great condition - one tiny nick on canopy, a couple of mm, that has a small patch on it but doesn't affect the kite and you'd be hard pushed to find it. Bladders are all in A1 condition with no leaks. Let me know if you're still interested.
  25. will accept £100. the kite is in virtually mint condition and is a bargain.
