i flew my 2m buster on wednesday (my biggest kite so that should tell you how much power i am used to!) i measured the wind to be between 19 and 35 because where i fly there r quite a few trees (the cows stole the good kiting field argh) and annoyingly long grass so lumpy horrible winds and thistle scratched itchy legs FUN! but Neway i set it up and kind of wish i hadnt but kinda wanna do it again Neway i took the kite over to the edge of the window and it decided to fly me! it didnt take me up v. high (only to the height of the long grass) but my feet never touched the ground the whole time the kite was flying and i am probably exagerating but i am sure i covered somewhere between 10and 20m but then i saw this big tree looming closer so i pulled the brakes and the kite came down and then accidently i took off the brakes/let the brakes lossen??? (is that the right term???)and landed jolted my shoulder and took a nice trip through the lovely thistles!!! for some reason me jolting my shoulder gave me a headache and i have now decided to buy some kite killers at least and am debating helmet e.t.c could Ne1 give me sum advice on safety gear???

u could do it for sport relief thats happening soon aint it u may even get on the tele cos its sumthing new!!!

hey don't bother my bro in law lost a few of the ends off his spars and he just wrapped sum tape round the end works fine!
