  1. I reckon one of the most important factors is leaning on the heels of your feet - last week, i went to stop so stood flat footed on the sand and went head over tits into a bit of a belly scud!
  2. I have a average jump on camera, doesn't show the kite just me and the landing on that was really hard so maybe you can learn from my mistakes! http://www.eastabrook43.fsnet.co.uk
  3. I have only flown on grass living miles and miles away from any beach but i am off to woolacombe in 2 weeks for the bank holiday and will take my kites and from the sound of it i am in for a treat!
  4. I was looking at my Blade today and wondered how you take your kite killers off, the loop at the end doesn't seem big enough to pass the strap through or is it just me! Chris
  5. Just for the record - i've sat in my S6 (kayak) with no paddle and just my blade, good laugh but only tried on a calm day in order not to die from kite lines around neck up side down Syndrome, I think i'll work up to a slightly strong day one day!

    Ouch!!!

How exactly did u land out of interest - mainly so I don't make the same mistake! but are you ok?
  7. a little crazy but for poor students i use my walking boots with tesco bags tied around me ankles - give ankle support and no grip!
  8. I guess it came with a stacker 6, pro 8 or super 10. They are for stacking more than one kite together. They say that 3 6ft are equal to an 8 I think. You'll need to be put loops at each end like on the main line and its best to put a single over and under knot in the middle of the loop to give you something to hold onto when taking them off the kite. They attach the same as the main lines and through the metal ring on both kites - getting them in the air can be really amusing!!
  9. I got my blade yesterday and took it out for the first! Bloody great - 6ft worth of air without trying. With the brake line, there are 2 knots to attach the lines to, i just the bottom one and the line seemed slack so do i use the upper knot, and does every1 keep the lines attached to the kite and handles - it doesn't seem a good idea but if it works! Thanks Chris
  10. Cheers
  11. I am getting my first four line blade 3 after about 6 months of flying a stacker 6, so i will be on a steep learning curve? Can anyone give me some tips or advice that will help me? Thanks Chris
  12. What lines does everyone recommand to have on this kite for jumping and scudding. Are flexifoil line the best to get with this kite or does it not matter and is there a better set. Thanks Chris
  13. I used to love sand, but since i lost a set of line to the sea from the tide i have gone off it a bit (i was stacking two pro 8 together and put my lines down and forgot about them until it was too late).
  14. I have 6ft power kit at the moment, and i think i have mastered it. I was getting real good speed and a little air ( in fact i was being held down by 2 mates in 40mph winds - which was really cool). I think its time to get a more powerful kite, but i don't want to a buggie because there is nowhere near to do it and i don't live near the sea, but i am not sure whether a blade 3 will be too advanced for me but i might master the max of the bullet to quickly - any advice for pros with expereice of both. Cheers ps have started a large following of power kiters at school with PE lessons now power kiting hour!
