I got an Imp for my 5 year old to have a go on and it's a great little kite. I agree with the earlier comments that it's better as it has no spar as opposed to the 2 line flexis. He managed to do some damage to my Proteam 8 but he's banged the Imp into the ground loads of times and it's easy to get it straight back up again. If you want your girlfriend to be pulled around I'd probably say it is a little tame but if she just wants to get used to controlling the kite then it's worth considering..especially if you want something for the 7 y.o to fly too.

Just searching through some old posts and came across this one. I'm off to SW Brittany myself at the end of the summer and have just got myself a new Bullet to play with. jimabbey have you been around this area yet (Vannes., L'orient, Quiberon etc.)... if so what are the beaches like for flying? Anyone else know?
