  1. Shameless advertising, this really is a bargin!
  2. This is my mates kite on e-bay, just thought any one looking for one of these ought to take a look at this one. RTF only £60 at the moment, bargin. Link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=270243568361&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=017
  3. OK, the 13 has sold but the 9m is still there.
  4. I've put my 2 Fuels in E-bay, both in real good condition & bargin price. Both RTF.These are the kites to have for speed & "old school" power. Here are the links 9M http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Slingshot-Fuel-9M-2005-RTF-Kitesurfing-kiteboarding_W0QQitemZ130226924542QQihZ003QQcategoryZ117150QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem 13M http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Slingshot-Fuel-13M-2005-RTF-Kitesurfing-kiteboarding_W0QQitemZ130226929172QQihZ003QQcategoryZ117150QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Sadly I'm too old now for "old school" , i've taken up base jumping as there's slightly less acceleration.
  5. Just added the 13m!
  6. I have my 05 9mtr Fuel including bar & lines for sale. Purchased new by me, no repairs or patches, really well looked after. Not sure what price I should be asking? If any-ones interested, or could let me know what its worth please reply below. Many thanks Nige. Also have a 13m O5 Fuel, also RTF had less use than the 9m, but one tiny pin prick, that has sticky repair tape on.
  7. One last time. Thought I might get more interest with the light summer winds coming, but Gee's its wind here, so windy that even the larger of my associates can kitesurf on 3m kites! How mad is that! Think I got the timing wrong. Any way I got one bid so it looks like it will sell.
  8. ok, a shamless act of self advertising.
  9. Hope it might make £140ish, though no bids at the moment. Thought you might like a test fly but I see your in Wigan, thats may be a bit too far. Nige

Thank's mad bloke, but this kite is difficult to sell as it is, let alone without the bag. Am I asking too much? Anyone know what the price should be, I thought £150 was cheap? I will get some new lines & replace the chicken loop rope. Surely then its a real bargin RTF at £150. Out of every one I know with one of these (4 people) mine is by far in the best condition.

Thanks, may take you up on that, does your pipe have a leash attachment point or not? May be best just to tie on a piece of cork with a bit of rope.
  15. Can't say for sure but I guess so. There are 3 attachment loops fixed to the leading edge, these can be seen on the photos. I have only ever flown it with 4 lines, works perfectly. Hope this helps?
  16. I seem to be giving this one away at the moment, ends Monday!

Never mind about the kite I've just noticed my age. Even though you know how old you are it seems a whole lot worse when you see it written down. A couple more months & my life will be over. Any-one know where to get a good pipe & comfy slippers.

Ok, I've lowered the starting price to £150, anything less than that I might as well keep it. Ends Monday. This really is a well looked after kite check out the phots of the spar pockets! What, no sign of any wear? Yip that's right.

How much are you wanting for the 7m fuel? Cheers.
  24. Thanks Colin Excellent report, now i'm really excited (you know that feeling you get when your driving down to the beach, the conditions are perfect and your the first there). Take off in two days time. I have to cram my kit into an oversized board bag, which after speaking to the airline I have pre booked & paid extra for £30. I didn't fancy the thought of paying much larger charges by just turning up on the day. Has any one got away without paying? A long time ago I took my kite buggy to Fuerteventura, all but the back axle fitted in to my bag and was 5kg under weight. Because the back axle was too long I put it in a long stunt kite bag and carried it as hand luggage, no one stopped me or even questioned it. Imagine carriyng a 4ft steel bar on to a plane now! Just an idea, but your report may be useful for others travelling to Lanzarote in the near future, is there a forum for posting location reports? Cheers, Nige
  25. Thanks for that, I have a few years experience & I'm happy in the waves spending most of my time at Bantham in South Devon. (though how big is big?) I guess I'll find out next week.
