  1. dan...pm'd you when are you available to fly m8, currently on career break, so have a bit of time on hands
  2. i think a 5mph wind would b a little too light, i've been flying in a 6-7 2nite, and that was only givin me a little pul, try 7-9 mph, it'll give u some resistance and give u more of a feel 4 it, turns wont b so drifty, and the kite will tend to luff less, as for the expense, it's well worth it...i dont regret buyin mine as for the g/friend , lie to g/friend, tell her you couldn't live without kite, buy her flowers (pick em from garden as now cannot afford to buy from shop..lol), or even better---teach her how to fly , i did that with the wife, now all my other flexi's arnt redundent.
  3. thanx for all the advice from u all, i have now printed off the application form, and filled it in. i'm gonna post it off as soon as i've finnished writing this. just a note to say, iv'e been flying flexifoil power kites for nearly 20 years with absolutly no accidents, but now due to the power upgrade with the 4.9, i know think insurance is a very good idea.
  4. i've been flyin for quite sometime now, but have only just recently got into 4 liners, i dont buggy or board, but am concerned about hitting someone whilst scudding/jumping, can anyone give a little advice on the matter plz
  5. stopped raini here, 8mph wind, so i'm off out wiv the b3 4.9 , bty ...dan i'm only down the road from u m8, fancy flyin sometime????
  6. all i can say is hmmmmmmmmmmmmm took my 3 4.9 out yesterday in a 15mph wind, good air, r8 scuds and some brilliant ass drags , after flyin m8's b2 6.4, not as much lift, but still worth the dosh, turns like a dream (make note, must buy 30m lines). i hope everybody who bought a blade 3, of any size has some really gr8(and safe) fun, remeber a kite is for life, not just 4 summer
  7. i live 16 miles from gatwick airport, and we are not allowed to fly kites over 200 feet, due to them being picked up on air trafic control (old bill turned up and gave us a good tellin ), but found out l8er that if we were 20 miles away we could go to 250 feey, hope that helps a little
  8. not lucky. cost about the same price in phone calls, as the kite:eek:  ..lol, but worth every penny, problem now ie rain, thunder and lightning , will post pic's and poss a vid as soon as i get some really good wind
  9. i got my blade 3 4.9 yesterday, some wind so had a bit of a go, smiles all the way, well worth the wait!!!!!!
