Pike,,,, Can you fly a rebel on 4 lines only ? I know it's a 5th line hybrid - just wandered if it works without.... .................. Mandog Advance kondor - awesome hybrid kite, still has the punchy C feel but with loads of bridle/bow type depower! Can recommend the Sonic too - 2007 ones very well built with loads of tuning possiblities (might not be great to have those possibilities if you're a newbie - depends on your character) 2006 ones - some had stitching issues. to be honest - if you're a newbie - just get out there on any ol second hand kite (look at the stitching and general condition first). once you start to develp your style and recognise your needs then you can start looking for the particular kite you dig.... Don't believe the hype too much - every brand is supposed to be 'the best, the most versitile' etc my advice is try as many as you can before you part with your hard cash and these things devalue so fast (mostly due TO the hype!!)# good luck dude!!

I have a kondor07 from Advance kites and it looks almost the same as the ion2 right down to the little arrows of reinforcing on the trailing edge - the concept looks the same as the Ion2 with the 2 diff tunning settings.
