  1. I had a go on Roces "Big Cat" skates this weekend and they were great for grass - quite similar to Street Feet but plastic wheels mean you dont get punctures. Charlie
  2. Bill, If you have a couple of minutes free, would you mind writing a review on the rollerblade coyotes for our blades section? http://www.kiteblading.com/php/contact-us.php Charlie ps - knackered my back this weekend with the gusty wind so out of action for a couple of days...gutted
  3. I was kite blading on Blackheath, London yesterday and found the wind to be really gusty. I was using a flexifoil bullet 3.5m and it was proving a nightmare with the gusty wind. Other people had different kites (perhaps ozones) and they seemed ok. Does anyone know which kites are best for gusty conditions? Charlie
  4. Bill, Hope all is going well and the rollerblade coyotes are going well. I have added the coyotes to our off-road blades section: http://www.kiteblading.com/php/blades.php and was just wondering if you knew: 1) what sizes they come in (UK or US) 2) the approximate weight 3) what bearings they use 4) any extras they have (e.g. brakes, carrying bag, etc) If anyone else knows this info as well please let us know, Cheers Charlie (info@kiteblading.com)
  5. Bob, Good to hear from you mate. Wondered when you plan on approaching flexifoil about designing them a pair of especially made doomwheel/kite skates? Charlie
  6. Bill, To be honest the wind is coming tomorrow, but so is the rain...typical uk weather im afraid. Look forward to hearing how the coyotes go - have tried trailskates, roces enduro and street feet, but a number of people seem to rave about the coyotes. Assume you got them from ebay? Charlie
  7. Bill, Updated your details on the site now for International Kite Bladers: http://www.kiteblading.com/php/international_kitebladers_northern_hemisphere.php Do you want me to add any comments? Also, probably best to leave the photo until you have one of you kite blading? Cheers mate, Charlie
  8. Has anyone tried the crosskates? Have never heard of anyone using them for kite blading, but would be intrigued as they look fairly cool...
  9. Bill, Sorry mate, have reworked the website and moved all the photos to: http://www.kiteblading.com/php/gallery.php Hope you like them - if you get any let me know Charlie
  10. Hi there, I am trying to create the world's largest international kite bladers' directory. If you are a kite blader it would be great if you could help promote this sport by joining our directory: http://www.kiteblading.com/php/international_kitebladers_index.php If you also have any photos these would be really appreciated and can be sent to: info@kiteblading.com Any help from fellow Kite Bladers would be really great and who knows if we get enough people involved flexifoil may even come up with a pair of Kite Blades especially for Kite Blading? Cheers Charlie
  11. I have a pair of trail skates and find them kinda cool for kite blading. Other pairs available are... http://www.kiteblading.com/blades.htm Cheers Charlie
  12. Some more home made Kite Blades: http://www.kiteblading.com/picture_thumbs&mains/pic_holger_stpeter_main.jpg
  13. Yeah probably, but you would need a slight incline or perhaps some ski poles... ...not half as fun as with a kite though
  14. Here are a selection of off-road blades: http://www.kiteblading.com/blades.htm (I am currently looking to get permission to include Roces off-road skates)
  15. Tinker, Would be good to see the photos as you build the skates, Charlie
