  1. Bump.
  2. Riot is sold. Board and harness still available. Would accept £60 plus postage for flexdeck.
  3. Bump. Open to sensible offers.
  4. Images are too large to upload - pm me if you want pictures
  5. Will get some pictures put on later of all 3 items. I'd be happy to sell the riot for £150 + postage (it is in unused condition) and the board for £80 (again, the foot straps / treads / board shows very little wear). I'm fairly local to Kingswinford so could arrange to drop it off with you if that sweetens the deal. PM me if you're interested.
  6. For Sale Ozone Riot 5m Black/Red: 3 years old, spent less than 1 hour in the air. Bought with the intention of getting into landboarding but have finally realised its never going to happen... comes with lines, handles, strop, kite killers, ozone bag. SOLD North Styler Waist Harness: bought second-hand from this forum to go with above kite and again, never used. Good condition. Flexifoil Flexdeck: 5 years old, again, virtually unused. £60 plus postage. I've decided these would be better converted to cash rather than sitting dormant in my garage. If interested please PM me for further info.
  7. Anyone got an opinion on this... I have flown my new ozone Riot twice since Christmas. Both times it got a bit muddy so I rinsed it down with a cloth and some lukewarm water - no detergents / no scrubbing - then let it dry out before folding it away into the bag. I got it out yesterday and the blue dye on the leading edge has imprinted onto the orange and yellow segments. I've owned kites by flexifoil, HQ and Peter Lynn and looked after them in exactly the same way and this has never happened to any of them. The Riot is the most expensive kite I have purchased so far, and I feel a bit pi**ed off that this has happened. Any suggestions? Should I try and send it back to ozone? Cheers. PS - the kite is amazing to fly. Just less amazing to look at now.
  8. Just got back from a weekend at Dyffryn - just north of Barmouth. Big empty beach, and perfect winds today! Just wish I lived closer...!
  9. Hi, I'm at Birmingham Uni living in Selly Oak. Me and my housemate are really getting into kite landboarding. We've been heading for the coast as much as possible (too many hours of lectures unfortunately... priorities suck). Sutton Park and the Lickey Hills are two local(ish) places to try. Maybe see you around! Rob.
  10. Thanks for the help. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a future meeting! Cheers, Rob.
  11. Hi guys, I'm new to landboarding and am struggling to find a good place to do it. Anyone know some good locations in and around Birmingham. (Term times I'm based in the city and holidays I live in Kidderminster.) Any suggesations? Cheers. Rob.
