  1. Unfortunately I've injured my back big time, the blade is far too powerful currently for me. I'm waiting on my order for the 3.5 bullet to be delivered this week, but now I'm thinking the 2.5 bullet might be safer given my position. I'm only using this for recreational flying no scudding or jumping for me currently. I need a good solid 'power' kite for a good workout not a crippling 5 minutes.
  2. I currently selling a firebee. I just prefer the Blades power to the Firebee, I like the lift they have.
  3. I'm wanting a small Blade to fit between the Super 10 and the 4.9 Blade. Basically I want a good solid power kite, with more pull than a S10 but I don't want the power of the 4.9m. Effectively a good workout kite, I'm not wanting field wide scuds, and jumping, or the look of terror on my face, in a nice breeze. How does the 2m Blade compare to the the S10 or a stack of x2. I'm undecided as to go with 2m or go for the 3m blades basically. PS I'm 6'4" and well built
  4. They are very flexible, I don't notice them at all. The nice thing is they were developed for mountain biking so were designed for lots of leg moving. They are much nicer than any hard cap knee pads I tried on. But the 661 hard cap pads look good to wear underr under shorts in the sumer, when the ground is harder. I got mine from the bike dept. of the local Halfords for £35, some bike shops sell them at £30.
  5. If anybody wants some excellent knee pads I can really recommend these. They have multi layers of neoprene and padding, and no hard cap so you can wear them under your trousers.
  6. I paid about £20-25 for mine for a Super 10 from Airborne Kites. IMO they are a must have if you have a Flexi as they give you a much larger wind range.
  7. looks like its aimed at kite surfers to me.
  8. oh I recognise that thing, that was responsible for body drag across the field on my back, the high speed shoulder launch into field, the jump followed by the stumble followed with a face plant and nicely finished with the face first body drag. my knee is swollen, ribs feel like hell, and I have a general dull body ache. hmm kiting
  9. It was another very low wind day again here so I went to my local park, and had some fun, the pull is mental. Had a crowd of spectators at one point, which just happened to coincede with the moment I slipped and went for the butt scud.
  10. went out yesterday morning and got myself a 4.9 blade, went flying today, in a barely noticeable breeze and all I can say is OH MY GOD, what a machine
