Guess I'm the same a Sprogg, never owned a blade (but flown plenty), started with a big Frenzy when we out grew the littledevils. Soon found the the 9.5 Frenzy covered pretty much the whole range of non-depowerable kites we owned. We now have the 9m and 15m Phantoms (amonsts other things) but these two pretty cover any sort of wind we want to go out in.
The only downside I find of any of the de-powerable kites is that in very low winds the effeciency loss is noticeable. The 15m will get going in about 7-8 MPH, Frenzy needed at least 10MPH. Less that this and the only thing I find that generates enough power to be any fun is a BIG blade but then who wants to kite in bugger all wind
