I'm basically a kite beginner. I took four kiteboarding lessons recently when I was in Maui but still have lots to learn when it comes to kiting. I've read that spending time with a trainer kite and/or learning to snowkite will make it lots easier to kiteboard on the water. That being said, I'm trying to decide between getting a Beamer TSR 3.6 or 5.0 meter kite as I'm hoping to find a kite that can be used for dry land training as well as for snowkiting. I'm about 5'11" and weigh about 84 kg. Snowkiting will mostly be done on soft snow or powder rather than on hardpack. Any advice? Have any of you tried the Beamer TSR 5.0 meter kite? I can't find any reviews for it.
